What if Blizzard shipped Warcraft 3 with an additional campaign, may it be Reign of Chaos or Frozen Throne. One campaign that you felt was missing, or needed to be added for the sake of loreship? The question assume you've not heard of World of Warcraft yet and just finished the campaigns in Warcraft 3.

Personally, I don't think an additional race would sum it up. Blizzard added the Nagas as a new unplayable race (with a few mission exceptions). Something about the naga would perhaps make of a bridge between the first and second release. Following the nagas in a few missions in their homeworld in the depth and their small contribution in the third war.

Nagas were night elves. Just as the satyrs, or harpies, or high elves were. Each one with variated history and evolvement. Nagas for instance, were highborne night elves that followed the submerging sundering of ancient Azeroth into the depth. If you follow the night elf expansion campaign, you'll find out more about where their homeworld is. To not confuse, not a different planet.

I always thought the Naga come from the Xel Naga in Starcraft...nvm, that makes too much sense.

Or a Campaign which tells the story of The First and Second War.

all in all I would choose the beginning of azeroth and its worlds, I mean the story of the titans and the creation of the world, it will be like a spirit-misty-like map
