Negative Abilities

How do I make an ability like say Berserk do negative damage. I have seen maps using this skill to reduce damage taken. I just don't know how to get below 0 with the World Editor. Even in maps that are unprotected, when in the object editor under the ability it shows a -X number but when you try to change it it's only 0 or +. I've tried adding - in front but it wont take. I can't find any other editors that work in this manner also. I thought a few years back I seen a skill editor but can't find it anymore. Basically how do I remove the parameters set by blizzards world editor?

You can edit values to negativ ones when opening the edit field with:

Shift-Enter
Shift-DoubleClick

i think you havent ticked the option of world editor "allow negative real values". its under preferences or somewhere...
