Need helping making a vehicle enterable/exitable

Hey, for a map im gonna make I need to have this... thing...
Well you can get tanks in it if your rank is high enough
but in order to 'drive' and 'operate' these tanks, you need to pilot them
and thats where the trouble starts...

Ive made a test map in which a hero has the ability 'Enter vehicle'
once you use that ability the unit unpauses and your hero dissapears

Then the tank has a few abilities, it has 'Ignition' what you need to make
the tank move, ive tested that ability, and it works.
It also has exit vehicle, in which the vehicle pauses and your hero reappears
ive tested this as well and it also works, except that i based it off roar
and the buff from roar doesnt go away :confused:

The main one i'm having trouble with is the Enter vehicle, (I based it off frost
armour) when I use it the vehicle gets frost armour and it doesnt go away
unless you cast it again, and the hero doesnt dissappear, and the tank is still paused.


:sad: I need help!

Exit:
Easy, simply make the trigger unload him THEN pause the tank.
Also, in the object editor, go to your skill and then click buffs then delete all the buffs and then delete the animation cast models.
Enter:
Once again take all the buffs off your frost armor skill and delete the animation cast models.
Have you made your vehicle enterable? Does it have slots to store units?
Are your triggers correct?

Well i could use cargo hold but i'd prefer it if youcould see the dmg and armour instead of
the loaded unit, is there any other way?

And yes, i checked and checked again, the Art-target and Art-caster and buffs have
all been removed, however they still show up and don't go away.
The triggers seem fine, I don't see why they are not working...

For the animation of the buffs of the 2 skills showing up, try to COPY and PASTE the skill you want to base it off, then edit the pasted one. Usually, always do this. I based a skill off battle cry on my map, I had copied and pasted and made the stats of your skill exactly to my skill. My map doesn't have the buff show up, yours does.

I purely believe that it is the buffs that are messing things up.

Edit: It works perfectly the first time, but when it has both the buffs, it doesn't work.

No matter what the duration time, the buffs still stay there

Conclusion: Copy and paste anything you want to edit.

For your "Roar" buff just set Stats - Duration normal/hero to 0.01
If you set it to 0 and you have a buff attached to it without you knowing it will show the buff forever, because it is never removed

Yeh I originally had the exit vehicle duration to 1 sec,
I changed it to 0.01 and it worked for some reason... ty for that

Yeh i think i knw what you mean, I originally copied and pasted
storm hammer to use as the enter vehicle. however that just made it so
the vehicle was stunned forever, even though i set it to 1 sec and removed
effects.
So then i tried using frost armour, set it to 1 sec, removed effects,
and it did the same thing.
The main problem is though that the unit won't dissappear and the tank
doesnt become unpaused, is this because of the pause trigger?
I might have to change it so when no one is in the tank it changes to Neutral
passive instead of pausing, but that would mean I would have to work around
a lot of things in my map and make a messy, and large trigger system.

attack effect is cool but it would be better if you add some sound to it

Yeh i'll try that, if that doesnt work ill just change it to neutral passive
