I know i've seen this somewhere on how to do it, i just couldn't find it.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I can't do it on Jass so, triggers is will have to do.

It needs to be based on clicking on "Enter Vehicle" either from your hero or on the vechile it's self. Don't know which one is easier.

Thanks, +rep, +credits, +love! :)

I have atm, 1 helicopter, 9 vehicles (future transport, tank kinda thing)
Just entering the vehicle. Like, Enter Drivers Seat, and the passanger seat could be used as an defence part of the vehicle.

Edit: Like, you press an ability either from the hero or the vehicle, and when you enter it you get control of it. But your hero is inside the vehicle.

bump?

Ah, well you can do it with normal transport ships lol.

Anyway i suppose the non-triggered idea is down the drain.

This can be done incredibly easy if you want it done by clicking on the vechile, however, would you want all units owned by the clicking player to be dropped out of the vechile? Or just one? Need some more details.

Probably, the map is called "The THING" and each player will only have 1 unit to control through out. The beginning for the human players its kinda like the battlefield games starting. But i think it is impossible for the Warcraft 3 engine for an allied player to be in the same "transport" as you with you only having access of moving the transport.

No, it wouldnt make the unit go on the vehicle. It just converts two units into one pretty much.

But it would require a separate ability for each kind of vehicle, so that might not work for you. But triggering the ability shouldn't be too hard. You would just have to hide the unit entering the vehicle and have a boolean to check if the vehicle is already holding someone
