I have some troubles with an extracted map from a WarCraft III campaign. The Orc RPG Campaign (Act II + III respectively) from TFT to be exact. I wanted to study some of the triggers as well as terrain design from these acts, but when I tried to open them with the editor, it says:
Error

Unable to load file 'C\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\Orc Campaign\OrcX02_04.w3x'

- Main map file could not be opened.

I could extract all of the other campaign maps via WinMPQ and view them with the World Editor without any problems, but Act II and Act III maps aren't working. I extracted them from a patch file rather then from the mpq files in the warcraft III folder. Why I do this you ask? Because I couldn't find them there. They are not present in war3.mpq, War3x.mpq or War3xlocal.mpq. I've heard that they're located in the War3Patch.mpq file, but the only thing I could find there were a ton of "unkown" files (unknown_00003faa and the like).
For your interest, I've reinstalled the game and updated it via pressing the Battle.net button in-game. No external patcher was involved whatsoever.

My question is: How can I get these maps working with the editor? Or how can I get a working version of these files?

...and please forgive me if this isn't the right forums section to post this, but I couldn't find a problems section here.

@Rui: I'm using WinMPQ v1.66 because I believe it's the most recently updated MPQ program available.

@watermelon_1234: I tried out War3 Model Editor and guess what? It worked! It's strange though, WinMPQ can't handle the files located War3Patch.mpq, but War3 Model Editor's MPQ Viewer can.

Thanks for the tip watermelon, problem solved.
