Need Help with a capture system

I' am basically trying to make a new versioin of the "Risk" map (if im allowed to, but idk if there are any copyright laws or w/e on these maps).

I'd like to make a system that is basically similar to the one used in the various "risk" games. The system i made would require 1 trigger for each region to keep the unit inside the region. It would also require another trigger with a TON of if/ then/ else (multiple functions) actions. is there a shorter and simpler way to do this? (preferably in jass as i am trying to learn that atm, but gui will do as well.)

I haven't seen that map, but if you mean something like this

I think knowing how to use trackables will be a lot of use for you. Make units movespeed equal zero and make everything trigger uppon clicking on units or regions. You'll need to make a trigger for handling turns (maybe a timer and some key detection) and that sort of thing.

hmm. maybe i can use polar projection (i think that is what its called)
do you think that would work? or is that only jass. im still pretty new to jass so i dont quite feel comfortable with trying to use that yet unless someone posts it for me then i could just copy and paste it. srry if i overexplain things. i do that sometimes.

As you'll be using triggers on everything, you can use move instantly to position to move unit's between regions..

He won't make a game original as RISK, but a copy of the game RISK over BattleNet.

So, movement-speed should NOT be at 0.

At risk game over BattleNet you can move around. If there's no units in the "region" and the attackers unit enter the "region". Then the attacker will get that "region".
But if there is units at the "region", then the attacker need to kill the defending troops.

I'm right? Owner of the thread?
