Naruto: SShowdown v1.15B

Select your naruto based character and do battle against friends and foes in the arenas. This is a skill based tournament where hero levels do not affect gameplay. However, you can save and load levels like your personal gamerscore.
Note: This map is PROTECTED, check the quests menu for credits and help. I know this doesn't have all the updates I wanted but it should be a vast improvement from 1.13 with many bug fixes and new content, as always if I forgot to credit anyone please feel free to yell at me untill I do!

removed the hero selection system that bugs all the time and created my own that looks the same.
reworked Jirobo's Earthen Barrier cause it was bad.
fixed Jirobo's Chackra Sucking Dome thing because it bugged.
added Asuma, Kurenai, Baki, Gai, and Konan
added new Hero Icons for almost all the characters (excluding summons)
added a couple new spell effects on a select few abilities
added the option to select All Random mode (randomly selects characters for all players, if the RBT option is on it will do this after every tourny)
added new effects to the FFA tournament
Reworking most Triggers; abilities to be fully MUI with better coding
Fixed Kiba's Dash Move
Kidoumaru's Poison Arrow reworked and fixed
fixed conflicting hotkeys on all characters (hopefully got em all)
Greatly optimized and improved all force hits, ultimate hits, exploding water shockwave, gatsuuga, meat tank, water dragon wave, grand fireball and water shark missile. All are MUI now as well. Second form triggers redone, they are now MPI and fully functional.

Hey guys, if you give the map a rating below 5 please offer some suggestions for me to improve it or a list of what you didnt like about it. Please make it something non personal. That means no "omg it's naruto 1/10, or I don't like Arenas 1/10" I'd like to improve the map and remove glitches and I can't do that without proper feedback!

To each his own, I admit you shouldnt be playing it repeatedly or it would get boring fast. It's meant to be more like a console fighter game. You could play for hours and hours and it wont change your character, but you yourself will get better.

I find whenever levels are involved someone always ends up getting a higher level than the others, winning and becomes unstoppable because they just keep getting stronger and stronger. Thats not very fun.

Secondly: In light of recent events I've decided to release another version, however, to the dismay of some and pleasure of many the Secret Characters are being made selectable, as well as the addition of three new characters to complete the teams of Konoha, Tenten, Hinata and Ino.

hey guys, just came on today and decided to update randomly. (was playing WoW, got to level 56 when my friends stopped playing so I did too) anyways, I'll be back to war3 every now and then so drop by the site and report bugs and glitches and I just might fix em.

Dude,I totally fell in love with this map the first time I played it.But the recent changes on how the skills are carried out just plain sucks.I think you should revert to the old style of casting "jutsus",cause many people won't play heroes,that require a lot of clicking or pushing

im not too sure if your still making the map still.
I have some suggestions though.
Add some more characters...
To not be straightforward im going to give you a concept to work on
Might Gai:
Dynamic Entry- flies toward targeted foe, doing 12? dm.
The Power of Youth- Does ?dm and stuns for?
Cycle Gates- While active it slows nearby enemies and speeds gai. it also makes him immune to area of effect attacks such as that pool of water many characters can generate
Konaha Hurricane- Does ? dm all around him
Gate of REst= adds ? dm
Arrogant Will- passive effect that make him immune to being flung back.
Bad memory- Makes cds go away. can only be once per round?
he does 4 dm

The fact that characters are the same every time will mean that certain characters will always beat certain characters..regardless of what the player does

The maker no longer works on it, last update was in March and if you give fair credits to idea and landscape i think you can continue this nice concept (and the author never connect to warcraft3 on this account Shikyo or Shikyo[am])

And what is "starting from scratch" (i'm french) ?
Did you test the map ? Cause a lot of work has been done ! There are things that must be changed but i can tell you some suggestions (on your realm, which is ? say me if you're interested :p)
And plus, there is a nice Snake/Manda skin to get for your own map !

PS : i'm lvl 55 to your map ! :p

have any of you tried doing this? use rocklees spell that makes him attack 100% faster then use the gates transformation, as long as u dont get binded u can kill a foe in 5 seconds.

I also think u should use shippuden skins.

This is aimed for (with lee) ! You just have to watch when he becomes red and then kick him away or stun, or stop him with "roots-like" (With Sarutobi, use Enma/Apes, the death spell or the same spell as Enma/Apes)
Shippuden skins ? i found the skins perfect for now so why changing ? :p

Ah but it's a unique naruto map, and it is better than most. I personally don't much care for Naruto, but the skills are fairly unique so I thought I'd try to make a decent Naruto map that is not an AOS.

Also, it'd be much more professional and respectable of you to comment more on the gameplay and mechanics of the game itself than the theme. As well as provide constructive criticism based on features you did not like and suggestions to change, calling it a poor map because it's based off Naruto just isn't good enough.

For v1.20

Update: Characters Added: Kidoumaru, Jirobo, Yamato, Pein, Konan, Deidara
Expected Change: Ability to vote on arrow keyed or normal abilities, and a lot of custom icons. Text fixes and reworking to be more aesthetically appealing (very boring job) New spell effects for the spells, as well as leak removal, bug fixing, and balancing.
May Change: Ability to swap out some of your abilities for other generic ones, or other abilities the character has used but I was unable to give them due to the current 7 ability limit.

I'll probably release this new version, however before I do I'd also like to add two more characters to get an even char selection, I'm thinking one of these combinations... (Asuma + Kurenai) or (Sasori + Kakuzo) that, or any combination of two good modelled characters that are not currently in the game.

Also, here's a list of the characters in the game, this game is using all the models I currently have so if you have a good model that you're able to share and would like to see them in the game, please do.

Could you add more time to a round so we don't have to rematch all the time and maybe make a mode where you got 200% life so there you can play longer (and very differently) ?
About the spells and all naruto related, it's the best map i have ever seen (i enjoy repeating myself).

Konan or Pein have some bugs I was workin out at the time, I'll either end up A: fixing the bugs or B: just removing them. With the new WE update I may end up revisiting the game but I'm thinking I'll just keep bug fixing till all the bugs/glitches are gone instead of adding more content.

I wonder if you can make this map more interesting....
Some suggestion:
1. Give a player new challenge (new game play) when their character level up, so they will not get bored with same game play again and again....
for example: when character's level reach 10, a new mission will open with new game play (different than before)

2. Give large item type to become random drop item when defeating enemy or finish the quest.

3. Even if this an arena type of map you should put a new characteristic to your map so it will different than another arena map....or others will just say "Oh...just another arena map."

Another naruto map. All these anime based maps are getting tiring. I dont doubt that your work on this map is professional but still...you shouldnt have based your map on anime.

But sure make that some heroes only playable if you have a higher level? then this map would have more long time fun.
And i found 2 bugs: if rock lee and maito gai use Basic lotus at same times one get stucked. and in arena sometimes heroes dies but still stand in arena, if 2 of them get bugged game ends.

i found some glitches
1. Zabuza's wave removing enemy char if it will do with stealth
2. If enemy killed by trowing back skill (like rasengan) match doesnt ending...
3. i dont know why but after repicking char enemy got my level! (my curent level 427)

The game has been handed over to a friend of mine, I made it when I was young and naive to the ways of coding and now he's agreed to rewrite everything, I'll help out where I can but officially it's his map now. I do believe he plans for more characters but it'll be awhile, as recoding is a big project.
