Ok so i KNOW my terrain sucks but i don't know what to add to make it better.. any suggestions/help would be appreciated here it is
maybe this isn't for you... You really need to learn everything raid1000 said and you need to learn how to use the camera to create "illusions" so your terrain looks more interesting. Try making your camera look at a smaller space and spend a lot of time making that one area look good with lots of doodads and making the ground different tiles. Try looking at my terrains if it helps?

Dude as i said back in your other thread, what i was meaning is this.
You don't even seem to bother, a terrain doesn't need to be finished in one day (especially not of a whole ORPG map).
Just take your time man and try your best. If you lack fantasy then just look at terrain of others, look at pictures of landscapes from games or reality and just try to combine them or something!

SPEND TIME on it. Think how a castle for example looks, then recreate it. Think of how a forest looks, does a forest only contain trees or are there paths, mushrooms, dirt, shrub?
So dude.. Set your terrain back to 0 in your signature . No offence.
Lol yes.. iv'e looked at almost all of those links already.. i see what i want mine to look like but i can't portray it in my maps.. I'm working on it tho.. =(
You're totally getting there man. Just those bright yellow shrubs could be a bit darker.
