My special effects wont cause any damage

Hello, I've some problems with my map, however my special effects wont cause any damage. Do I have to make a new trigger/action etc to make it cause damage to the player who stands in the special effect. I tried some other effects too and it didn't work either...

Please help, it'd be great.

Yes you will have to make an ability or trigger to deal the damage inside the area of the effect.

Thanks and yeah it's probably I don't really find so much in the site atm but I guess I'll get use to it. ^.^
