Good Evening, i recently figured out how to add my own music to a map i made in world editor, but i haven't found out how to tweak my trigger to make the songs replaying until the map ends (You win/lose), let's say for example i've added 3 songs to my map, now i want those 3 songs to replay once each of them have been played once, and so on until the map ends.

I'm sorry if the answer/Trigger is simple, my experience with triggers is still very basic and simple.

Thanks in advance for any help i can get on this matter.

Best regards

Well I hope I understand it well and answer right:

You import your custom music/sound to the sound editor, then there is a button "Use as Sound". You click this and then you see your sound on the right side.
(There you can configure the song a little but not needed in this case)

Now you navigate back to the Trigger Editor, make a new action: "Sound > Play <sound>. Click on the red marked <sound> and then you can select your sound there.

Thanks for the answers so far, afraid i formulated my question a bit complicated, i already know how to add my song to the world editor and it's working, what i couldn't figure out is how to make the song replay itself everytime it ends, basicly i want the song to play until the map ends.

About my knowledge with triggers, i would say i've pretty much just started using triggers so my knowledge is indeed very limited.

My only problem is that the song i imported is a Music file, if i put it as a sound file it will not completely overwrite the existing wc3 background music, only when i use it as a music file it overwrite the normal wc3 background music, but you can't click the "Looping" on a music file in the sound editor, so it have to be done with some kind of trigger if i want the song to replay itself until the map ends.

Anyhow thanks for the help so far i appreciate it.

Well next try! How about use something like this:

  • Trigger1
    • Events
      • Time - Every 120.00 seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • -------- Play music action --------
      • Sound - Play 03__Aggro_Teil_3 <gen>
      • -------- Play music theme action --------
      • Sound - Play war3mapImported\03) Aggro Teil 3.mp3
Then you just have to replace "120.00" with the time of the music and you just need one of the actions above, I just wanna show that you can use both then.

Greetings and Peace
