Hi!

I want to include 3 songs into my game but have been having issues with this. Firstly, I already compressed the files, so don't worry, I'm not adding 50mb worth of music.

I have tried both playing my songs as "sounds" and as "music" and they both have their own special little difficulties. For songs played as sounds, this issue is creating a trigger that plays the songs one after the other without using a wait action. Once you add wait into the equation, the whole map flips out when playing online and the songs play 3 second loops of their starting audio.

When playing songs as "music", you can only play one audio file. I thought one solution might be to merge all the songs in a sound editor into one file, but this resulted in 3 separate files worth 3mb becoming 1 file worth 30mb. Don't really understand this.

  • Song Example
    • Events
      • Time - Elapsed game time is 0.10 seconds
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Sound - Stop music Immediately
      • Sound - Play The_Lord_of_The_Rings_Rohan_Compressed01 <gen>
I tried understanding how the heck this function below works but have had no success as there is no way to set the value of each music file

  • Sound - Set the music list to Music, starting with song 1
If anyone knows how to make a proper music playlist and can tell me, I would be very grateful! Thanks for your time, happy newyear
