Hello everybody!

Well, I know that there is a tutorial about the hidden material in the WE, but the thread was edited and some information was missed. The informartion I need is the path to the campaign screen moving skies. I had the information saved in a text archieve, but I think I deleted it =P

-I am asking for a terrain help, so I'm not at the wrong board!

Thanks everyone!

Create a doodad. Go to it's model in the Object Editor. Go to Extras I think. One of the bottom ones in the list. Look for some in there.

In a few cinematics, there are scenes that have moving skies. The sky is actually model which is a part of a gluescreen menu model. For example, the Orc Campaign menu background is of an orc in a desert in a stormy night. The clouds move and the visuals are quite good and impressive for WarCraft III. Anyway, these backgrounds are all one whole model, and are able to be used in your maps. The main strategy is replacing the model of a doodad and then scaling it either smaller or larger. Depends what you're going for.

The path should be in Game Interface I believe. Most likely, you won't see much in that little box where it shows what the selected model is, but once you place it, you'll see what it really is.
The title of the model is 3D Orc Campaign X I believe or something like that. If it says 3D and you see the word gluescreen or background, then I recommend you try looking at that.

Once you find it and place it in your map, select it in the editor and Ctrl+Page Down the doodad under the ground until the ground of the background disappears and the sky is visible. Now your animated sky should look cool. This sky is diagonal, so that might lead to some future problems. However, it looks nice in maps with 3rd Person Cameras.

Oh, so it's name is that? This solve many problems.
