"Morph" animation tag

From what I've seen so far, the "Morph" tag plays as a transition between animation sets such as "Alternate" or "First".

If I were to animate a model such as a Footman, and made it so that their Ready animation, aswell as every attack and spell animation had their sword drawn, and sheathed during his standing animations, would a properly named morph animation work?

For example, after the Footman exits combat, would they play an animation named "Morph Ready" wherein they sheathe their blade? Aside from that, if I added "Morph Ready Walk" to accomplish the same in motion, would that animation play? Or even a "Walk Ready" animation where the Footman keeps his weapon out as he moves.
