This is a model I've been trying to make since 2009. Morgoth from Tolkien's Silmarillion, the former boss of Sauron who caused the elves to be bastards by being an even bigger bastard. He stole the three glowing balls of Fëanor, the Silmarils, the Anakin Skywalker of elves, and embedded them into his crown.
So this is a WIP of Morgoth's iron crown. I decided to make it like a helm, borrowing designs from Darth Vader, Sauron (he had to get it from somewhere), Megatron and the Lich King (who was inspired by Sauron and Morgoth). I want to weave the whole design of the crown around the Silmarils so that every spike has some claw component that grasps them.
