Moon glaive on heroes wont work

I'm trying to create a hero, and I want his' attacks to bounce to nearby, units. I keep testing, but it wont work, I created a custom unit ability (Moon glaive fron naisha) and It wont work, I added max targets to 4, AOE and even AOE Affected targets, but still wont work, please help.

Apparently some people had the same issue as you do:

How do I make the Moon Glaive attack to work?

Seems the moon glaive ability per se does nothing, you need an upgrade and altering the unit itself.
