Can anyone replace the head of this model (also remove his helmet) with this model's head? Permission has been given by Stefan.K for his Footman Leader model but Tenebrae hasn't been online for 6 years so I can't get his permission for his RPGVillager model.
Thanks,in advance.
You can do that with MatrixEater. Download the latest version from my post in this thread. This video tutorial shows you how to transfer geosets (from one unit to another).
It looks like the head geoset is attached to the wrong bone. You can attach it to the correct bone if you select the head in Matrix Eater, right click anywhere in the workspace and select Re-assign Matrix. Then select the correct bone from the list on the left side of the window and click the Use Bone(s) button.
Well that seem to work, but now the blinking eyes and moving jaws aren't working properly. When it blinks, the head seems to be squished for a while. When talking, the head shakes.
Removing the eye and jaw bones seems to make it buggy.

So, you want it to have incorporated portrait animations? Well, that makes things more complicated.
Jaws and eyelids move independently, so they should be attached to separate bones.

The jaw should be attached to the same bone the rest of the head in attached. That would prevent movement of the jaw and his mouth would always be closed. And you can just delete the eyelids (select them in Matrix Eater and press delete).
Well, everything's done. The model is polished and are working well. I wish I can give you more rep. You literally thought me how to do basic modelling, and for that,I thank you
