Model Making Programs

I need to know all the programs I need to create and edit my own models... I can't use 3DSmax for I cant find it and I cant download a new one because of my OS (WME) so I use G-Max / Games Max... help would be appretiated...

Mind your language.
Its quite hard to model for first time, so of course, gmax requires a code right? I don't have gmax so I can't really help you but start off by reading some tutorials or asking people who have gmax.
