I'm sure theres a sticky for this somewhere, but can anybody show me a good model editing tool? I've already got all the necessaries for skin editing.

Skinning tools don't allow you to edit models...
You'll need a converter first to a edit a model to .obj/.3ds and then use a modelling program to edit it...

Get WC3 unit viewer, you can get the model you want, and export it. Errr... though I don't know what to do from there.....
