Mixing and Mashing Together Tilesets

For those that care, I wanted to report that tiles can be added and replaced with much ease through the use of the Data Editor. You can even change cliffs too. I've provided some screenshots as well.

  • A maximum of 8 tiles (at this point at least) can be used on one map.
  • Swapping tiles doesn't appear to have any restrictions, unlike in Warcraft III where some tiles couldn't be swapped for certain other tiles.
  • Cliffs can be swapped and added.
  • You can have up to 4 different cliff types per map.

And no, the screenshots aren't supposed to look beautiful. Especially not the cliffs one...

The 8 tiles max per map is a bit sad.. Is it possible to bypass this? Like creating different sectors or sth like that?
