I basically want to make it so that a player can have visibility in a certain region but not be able to see the region in the minimap. I want the minimap to remain black at all times.

So basically how do I edit the in-game minimap image with a black one? How big is the sqaure mini-map?

EDIT: I fixed it! lol. =)
