dunno what type of contest it should be, so i think "mini-modelling" would better suit the theme. anyway, it's something like:

the contestant should create a custom animation for an existing wc3 model.
(maybe at most 3, probably walk, attack and stand)

i'm not a modeler myself, but i would like to see how some people will think what the attack animation for, example the Orc Spirit Walker, would be. i sometimes find it weird that it tosses what looks like an incest holder then a yellow bird comes out. what, is it a bird's nest?

I always supported animating contests. But it was impossible to organize one. Most people don't use the real animating tools. You can not compare the quality of animations made in 3Ds max with any other animating tools for Wc3. People who do not own 3Ds max 5 or up will always bitch about the rules of this contest. The tools they use support only linear animations and of course they want everyone who participants to only animate with a linear animations ("robots only" they say, the bitching starts when you request something organic).

I saw one Wc3 animating contest over at lowpolyworkshop. It was really cool because it connected many Warcraft 3 community's in that contest.

This could be called mini-animating contest and for example, this should not be the contest in which the model must be imported into the game. So everyone can download the latest 3Ds max and animate.

an incest holder

aaaaanyway, as cal said, its unlikely that very many people would support it, but you're more than welcome to create an open challenge in the challenge section. And if it's any help, i would be happy to offer a rep prize (12 is my maximum) to whoever wins, or even participates.
