I don't know if this is the right forum to post, so apologize in advance, but there is any tool or tutorial to merge the BLP files of a model with the MDX? For example, there are some effects models that is only a MDX file without any BLP to associate or paths to change when importing.

As far as I am aware, MDX files cannot contain texture data. In WC3 only blp and tga files can contain texture data and only blp files support mipmaps that are needed by some models.

Inside the mdx file there should be chunks that map texture files for use. This is where the texture file path is declared. Many models that are available on this site reference mostly standard textures as custom textures have a large file size. Although this practice is no longer necessary now that 128 MB maps are possible, it was back when 8 or even 4 MB maps was the limit.
