There is but one reason for this, the current Wrath of the Kaiser gunner is going to be replaced with nation-specific variants of this

And unique single-person units will be added, currently I am deciding if the Herr army should use gas or flame.

The machinegun squad has been remade into another unit, namely this guy, however I may bring back the gunner team as a building like from Toy Soldiers, which was the unit's original inspiration material.
