Map Testing Error

Hi, i've got a problem with testing my map.

Whenever I test it, it brings me back to the wc3 main menu. I can't manually test it because it shows none of the players. I feel that this is about the map having a long name but I'm not sure cause if I remember correctly, you won't be able to see the map in the game when that's the case.

Anybody have an idea on what seems to be the problem?

Are you testing in JNGP? If so, you have to make sure you save before clicking the test map (if that doesn't work, try saving twice before clicking it).

I just remembered something.

It had an error while saving. I forgot to update some units in the trigger, the trigger was imported btw. But it still finished saving but I'm not sure if that's an issue though

If there is a syntax error then it cannot load properly (which is why it returns you to the main menu).

An error will cause it to not work..

Are you sure? Even if it completes the saving, if there's a syntax error it won't load?

Errors does not mean it won't save. It simply means it won't work cause it will run into error when loading and exit out.
