Map does not appears to be created

Hello! I'm making my map and now i have a problem: When i'm creating the map in the Warcraft, but it doesn't appears when i put the map into a different folder than Warcraft II\Maps. What can i do to resolve this problem? D:

WCIII u mean? i think a total extension can only be 255 char's So make a folder inside the Maps Folder named Customs or something and put your maps in there. Make sure the folder name combined with the map name donest go over 255

I tried to make this. I created a new folder and my map does not appears. D:
My friend opened it in the Newgen World Editor, i think that is the point, but i don't know if is really and how can i resolve.

You used World Editor Unlimited to make it? If so, you got a problem bro lol
Remove every WEU add-on trigger, remove advance triggers and that stuff. Remove everything that stops you from opening your map in regular WE or JNGP. Then you open your map one of of those 2 and keep saving it and hope so you can see your game.

Ok about the WEU Editor: That's a big problem. [If you use it - don't know what -SoulBurn is talking about ... ]

The WEU use "Advanced Triggers". If you use some of them you have to delete them!

Second step is to remove the Custom Script, that the WEU creates to use those Advanced triggers. You can found the script, when you are in the Trigger Editor and click in the left line on the map name. Now on the right side there is a long script - delete it.

The next step is to remove all variables, that starts with zZ_ ( I thought it's zZ_ )

In the final step you have to replace the deleted "Advanced Triggers" with the normal Triggers. ( If that's hard, you can get help here any time)

Anyway, the map is Wc3 1.24 compatible yes? Else you can send the map into this topic, or send it into a private massage to me or someone else who have experience, so it's easier to find the mistake/problem at all.

I've done fixing WEU maps some times, tough it's not 100% guarantee of it will work.

Well, as you don't denied you used WEU i'm assuming you used it. Also, awnsering how do you know what is a add-on trigger, other than checking it in every action (unless you remember them as i do) you could just try to open your map in normal WE. It will display something like "Function do not exist in database: add atribute". Also, sadly, it doesn't show every function that does not exist in the first msg. You will keep getting the errors.

Also, i never used an editor named "Newgen World Editor". If your friend were talking about Jass NewGen Pack, as far as i know it does support WEU, so it would explain the fact your friend could have opened your map.

He meant the map script. In the trigger editor you can set map scripts that will run no map init before every other trigger. To acess them just click your map name in the trigger editor. Also, WEU advcanced triggers and WEU Add-ons functions both stops you from opening your map in regular WE.

I tried renaming the map name. (i didn't tried editing file name lenght tough). I did not worked. Tried saving it in JNGP 5 times. No results.

Also, it have no WEU triggers, so i'm assumign it was not created in WEU. My guess here is that the map have some corrupted strings or similar. Maybe ;x

in-game map names doesnt matter here, its the file name/path that has a limit...
