Making Statues

Is it possible to complety freeze units, ive tried pausing units in game and making buildings and using the units as the model. im trying to do the thing where you press a switch and a statue comes "alive".
Should i be looking into disabling unit standing animation or something?

In Unit Editor change movement type into NOTHING and add Unit Classification 'Ward' to it

Or make the Unit unclickable by adding 'Locust' ability to it

sorry this doesnt seem to work, i cant select the unit, becasuse of locust, and took away movement, but its still doing the idle animations

Animation - Set Animation speed of <unit> to 0%
