WC cannot make a difference between ultimates and non-ultis. And spell immunes are immune to ALL spells...
This is 200% impossible.
This is incorrect. There are spells in the game that are considered universal spells that affect spell-immune units (hence the term "universal"). Universal spells include ultimates and healing spells.

HOWEVER, setting the required level of a spell to 6 dose not make it considered an ultimate. It is perrty straight foward; iether a spell is universal or it is not.

STILL, in Footmen Frenzy they have two non-ultimates that affect spell immunes; Call of the Gods (which is based off of Monssoon) and Great Fishing Harvest (based off of Cluster Rockets).

Call of the Gods is trigger enhanced, but the damage dealt and the effects are a direct result of the spell. Great Fishing Harvest is not trigger enhanced at all.

In Onslaught, the Storm Enhancer's Monsson can hit Spell Immune units. I have a copy of the unprotected Onslaught and there is no trigger for the spell nor any JASS scripts affecting the spell at all.

They know something we don't. I'm trying to contact the NoHunters about this. In the mean time, dose anyone here know how they did it?

My simple answer is use trigger enhanced spells since that way they ignore spell immunity but that is up to you.

Well I think spellimmunity only blocks some abilites for example YOU CAN NOT DOOM a spell immune creature since otherwise you could doom infernals.

You can FOD (finger of death (Acrhimonde)) spell immunes some times but that depends on its settings.

Death and decays seems not to affect spell immunes to.

But anyway all this is based on what I remember seeing but not from facts, ill look into it tomorrow to find out any secrets and tips with spell immunity.

That's because he has Resistant Skin.

Your settings must be off. In the case of FoD, you can target a spell immune unit and it will fire, but it will deal 0 damage.

And yes I do have the map but I cannot figure out how they did it. Maybe I'll take another look at it sometime.

Ok the infomation I gave yesterday was completly false.

All ultimates effect spell immunes but the blood mage's which can not.
Also the fire lord's incinerate ALSO affects spell immunes as well as the keeper of the grove's thorn aura (not as in covering the unit, as in they do take reflect damage).

It also seems if you modify existing ultimates (giving them 10 levels and changing all perameters) it still works so that leads a conclusion that there is something that tells the game which spells are ultimates and which are not.

Currently I can not find this and my only recomendation is not make the units spell immune or give them resistant skin.

Sorry for the missleading infomation yesterday.
