Whenever I hit "Test Map", WC3 launches but doesn't actually tests the map: it just takes me to the main menu where you can either go on battle.net or quit.

It means you use vJASS, but you haven't save your map.
Just save it before you test it.

No I save my map all the time before testing it and it doesn't work.
