I'd like to thank the good people of the Hive for their support, and the mods and admins for their help in getting all of this set up. And thanks for the spotlight, of course!

I hope the map will bring all of you many hours of gaming fun.

Be sure to visit the forum to see how and if you can help improve the project!

Uhh.. I have no idea what Magic the Gathering is, but congratz anyways.

It's the oldest cardgame in the book, as far as I know. Long before Pokemon, Yugioh or whatever, there was MTG.

Over 6 to 7 years ago, a custom Starcraft map circulated on battle.net. It was based on the colors of MTG, pitting creatures and abilities of each color against eachother in a real-time strategy interface.

This map is a remake of that; caused by a combination of nostalgia and the need to create something simple to learn, hard to master, and just good fun to play. :)

Well I dont know what pokemon or yugioh are either, And I dont play starcraft... o_o

You dont know about Pokemon or Yugioh? Are you quite certain? With all the media attention involved, the massive commercialism surrounding both, the kids television shows, the video games... you do not know?
That.. is impressive. If you're serious.

As the banshees say: You're the lucky one.

Anyway, MTG. It's a game where you collect cards, and use them to play against eachother. No PC involved either, imagine that. ;p

Here, check this website, you can view the cards individually. Some pretty nice artwork on them.
