Lunar Eclipse

A Lunar Eclipse is going on right now. At the time of me posting this it's mid-full eclipse. It'll end at 12:09 PM EST.

My first total eclipse, hell my first eclipse ever.There won't be another total lunar eclipse until 2010, however next year will have four partial/penumbral lunar eclipses.

We had a minor one in New Zealand recently, or was it solar? I don't really now, atleast its sumthing 2 look at I guess.

solar eclipse > lunar eclipse.... i never watch the lunar ones, they are boring imo.

Lunar was still pretty hawt. I watched most of it, until about 10:30 or so before I went to bed. Sky was perfectly clear so I had a great view.

We've got a total solar eclipse coming up this year, which will rock.

August 1st, 2008, total solar eclipse. North America and Europe only get to see partial eclipse, while like Nunavut and Russia get the whole deal.

You do know Nunavut is part of north america right? I was able to see some of it around the Toronto area.

Since i'm Canadian, yes I am well freaking aware that Nunavut is a province of Canada. HOWEVER, it is the most northerly of all the provinces in Canada, therefor the majority of the Canadian population (Which resides in Ontario and Quebec) will not be able to see the whole deal. Only the very farthest Northern reaches of Canada and Russia will be able to see it fully.

solar eclipses are better because when the light shines from the sides of the moon/sun it looks amazig, i think is called a corona or something.

I once saw the Sun disapear at around 6-7:00PM!
