Looking for a new monitor

So my parents got me another monitor for christmas (dual monitors ftw) but they haven't actually bought it yet since they thought it'd be better if I pick one.

I don't really know where to start looking for one... I'd want one that has a big resolution but not a huge screen size (i.e. more dense). Don't care about HD blah.

Anyone know where to start looking? :V

Ya... Samsungs are good , but , if in what country you are in , it depends what the price at a store is , in US , Wal-Mart is a way to go , so just go to a few stores , check which one has the best one you want , get it , and make sure it supports.
