is there a way that i can edit the pic that you see as you load a map?

ie: mission 1 of the horde, could i change ITS look and place new things, change the path that is shown.

(as the map is loading you get a quick story of .... what ever and you see the path that is taken to get you from point A to point D and so on.)

Yes you can, its called 'custom loadingscreen', there are a lot of tutorials how to do it, search for them.
