LIBERATION OF GILNEAS
A gilnean/worgen campaign by Warseeker

Liberation of Gilneas is a Warcraft 3 RTS custom campaign similar to Blizzard's campaigns style inspired by World of Warcraft: Cataclysm storyline. This campaign is a sequel to my Forsaken campaign "Legacy of Lordearon" set after the Forsaken invasion of Gilneas and its aftermath from the gilneans' perspective.

Features:

• 10 playable chapters + interludes.
• 5 difficulty levels: Casual, Normal, Veteran, Hardcore, and Insanity.
• A story based on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm with some personal additions.
• Many custom units and items with unique models and icons.
• Custom background music from World of Warcraft.
• Possibilty to play co-op with a friend.

Storyline:

Following the devastation that struck Azeroth in the wake of Deathwing's return into the world in the Cataclysm. the Greymane Wall that once protected the Gilneans from the Plague and the Scourge invasion was shattered, giving the chance for the Forsaken to invade Gilneas. Even before this, the gilneans were struggling to contain the Worgen curse spreading among the nation and turning anyone who contracted it into mindless beasts. The gilneans now find themselves stuck between two foes: the Worgen on one hand and the Forsaken on the other hand and must make moral decisions to secure their nation.

Characters:

• Darius Crowley: Gilnean noble turned rebel, fierce and pragmatic. Leader of the Northgate Rebellion that caused a civil war in Gilneas, during which he was imprisoned. Strong-willed and loyal to his people above all.
• Lorna Crowley: Darius' daughter. Brave, defiant, and emotionally torn between family and duty—especially during Forsaken confrontations.
• Genn Greymane: The proud and stubborn king of Gilneas. Deeply regrets past decisions but fights hard for his people’s survival and redemption.
• Liam Greymane: Genn’s idealistic and kind-hearted son. Noble to a fault.
• Lord Godfrey: Snide, calculating, and self-interested.
• Krennan Aranas: The royal alchemist. Dry, pragmatic, and focused on solutions—especially regarding the Worgen curse.
• Ivar Bloodfang: Wild, aggressive, but honorable. Leads the Bloodfang Worgen faction and doesn’t care for politics.
• Belysra Starbreeze: Night Elf priestess aiding Gilneans. Wise, serene, and often spiritual.
• Sylvanas Windrunner: Banshee Queen. Cold, cunning, ruthless—but layered with pain and tragedy.

Dammit, and I myself wanted to create Gilneas RPG campaign in "Adventure of Van Helsing"-style... Well, if it will be close enough to Cataclysm Worgen questline, it will rock!
