- cap will check at the end of every wave, and any lumber above cap will remove from game.








LegionTD Mega is base on Legion TD War 1.50c (by LISK), he quit Warcraft 3 and left the map for anyone to continue development.

for this version (Mega), it will be X3 mode only, so I can spent more time to balance the map for X3 mode.

Primary Mode:
  • -AP : All Pick - All players can pick any race.
  • -AP : All Random - All players are given a random race.
  • -SD : Single Draft - All players are given 2 random races to choose.
  • -HP : Host Pick - host pick a race, every given same race as host.
Secondary Mode:
  • -mm : Master Mind - Restricted vision on enemy's map and information.
  • -hg : Hour Glass - Receive gold for enemy leaks (that reach the King).
  • -gg : Get Gold - Receive gold from kills at middle (near king).
  • -cb : Change Builder - You can pay to change to a new builder.
  • -li : Limit Incomer - Pure income is disabled untill lvl10+.
  • -X3 : 3 Time - more creeps spawn
Default Mode: if you don't enter mode in 15 seconds after game start, it will use "-aphgggmmcbx3" as defualt mode.

Quick Mode: if mode string is 3 characters long, it will use Quick Mode. eg "-ap"

- Mana regen aura : 3% -> 5% (eg, if you have 30mana, it will add +1.5 mana/second)

Shadow:
- Nightmare/Doppleganster tank better (light -> unarmored)

Nature:
- Tree of Knowledge's AoE spell limit to 15 target

Demi:
- Alpha Male: reduce spell animation (almost instantly cast)

Orc:
- Poison cannot kill creep (will leave it with 1hp)

Goblin:
- Goblin's driver will elf-destructive when die ( same effect as small/medium land mine)

Creep:
- level 22, 28 is slightly easier (around 5-10% easier)
- 17,18,23,24,25,26,27 is harder

Summon:
- correct shortcut key for Pudge & shaman

- Behemouch changes: add +3 armor aura
- Krakken changes: add healing aura (+4 hp AOE)

Arena:

-vk doesn't work either, and players disconnect too often it's frustrating at times. Not sure whether it's related to the code though, it may be due to poor connection as well, any other feedback on that one?

I appreciate the hard work you put on this game, but it may not be a good idea to release a new version as "stable" before it's tested thoroughly. Just saying..

Only Hostbot can tell disconnect is cause by decryns or poor ping. there are lots of hostbot hosting this game so I am sure they will tell me if it cause by decryns.

I am confirm -vk do work. however the command is turn off if game is host by hostbot.

also -AR is working base on my test. he need to give more detail or a replay, because :
-all mode do not work if you type them wrong, it will automatic use default "-aphgggmmcbx3".

HuanAK, i've been playing Legion for a month. Well, in the end i know who is the champion, he is priest, paladin priest. If u build maxi priest, it is undefeatable. At least is round 28 with some demons ( i played this some times, and no one can pass lv 28 with so many units from barack). I recognized this when i played prophet and didn't have suitable tower to build except priest. I can have the lumber at 7/7 lv 10 and 7/15 lv 20 without any leak. U know with that lumber, the income is very strong.
I think u better test and fix this at later version.

Hi I dont know if this was already reported, but on version v3.4 (dont know if its the same on B16) Paladin's healers are way too strong. I tested them once, overall the game went to lvl 31, I leaked lvl 6 and 17 but got more gold overall from feed. In short, from lvl 10-20 you can easily stay 1k under req value with healers and tanks, and on ap mode (with bonus lvl gold given even with high income) I got 7/15 at lvl 17, ended up with over 1200 income, and a good merc player ended up with 1400 income. Ofc value is op since your balance system was "off" but still ended up with 25k value. Killed easily about 1 waves and a half leaks at lvl 28 and 29 with almost no losses lol.
Only hard lvl was lvl 30, since boss kill faster than healers can heal, but still killed fairly fast.
Since this was my first time trying this tactic, I could probably make it even stronger with some practice lol.

yes, people complaint healer was useless, and ask me to remove paladin form game.

so changed their heal to double, mana cost also double.

now they become most OP unit.

and those who complaint my income cap, you can find answer on -AP mode (Merc & and those imbalance build still get full bonus gold)

(bonus gold worth ~3300 in total).

same for those complaint Merc nerfed in beta 10-15

Note:
- First replay is Beta 14, it update everything at same time
- Last 2 replay is Beta 15, update is explit into 2 parts

now, if you run ReplaySumarizer.exe and open first map to parse :
- initial message is ok
- define variable is ok
- update is ok.... only for first time ... then never update again

now, try 2nd and 3rd replay (beta 15 with update split into 2 parts)
- initial message is ok
- define variable is ok
- update is ok.... now it update 1-2 time.

ok the Fact is : when I test my map in my debug version, I am sure it call "update" function every wave !

so something wrong with W3MMD parser ? I am not sure if it is:
- the W3MMD code have error and stop sending data OR
- the parser found some error and stop reading data

if it is 2nd one, then I have attached the Visual C# project file for the parser for anyone to find out(this parser is aprt of Ghost++ W3MMD parser). you can play around with :
- debug setting on parser on 3 difference game replay

So, in this case i will give you the replay. It hard to believe, i will do it alone and send the replay here after a moment. The priest only be beaten by Gromthar, i will mix some other strong army to fix this.

Here is the replay that u need, By this way, someone can do it even better than me. Cause it is very easy to learn. I used Dinos at the beginning just give me more time to chop lumber as well as some one leak. By using mass Priest, he can pass round 28 and 29 (hardest round) easily. I failed at round 30 when i had 16k value ( 1 Gromthar left), but if 1 build at 20k value like this ( by using only priests) i think that Gromthar will be beaten.

I only built 2 full lanes of priest which is more than enough, then you make strong dmg dealer with high hp in front... and units like meridian on the back and gg lol

Personnaly I like playing with the balance system off, this will teach noobs to start using income in game. And with 2 strong teams, this will only make things more interresting at lvl 31 (which usualy lasted 2-3 waves max on 3.3). And for those who would say merc will be op that way, well I tried it and with the new cost of the units, sure merc is "strong" but you cant save up enough gold to switch race, and late game, even if a good player using merc will not leak, he wont be able to stack enough lumber cause he need it to defend.

Also I got use to the balance system (another reason why I think its not that good) now I usualy start saving lumber after second arena, so keeping my income lower I get gold from lvl. That way I can save 8-10k lumber for 28 and its 95% gg lol. I dont see the point of sending summons past 20, when I can stop and get a fine amount of "bonus gold" then win. Without the balance this tactic is way less interresting cause it will reduce your value alot.

2 Bugs probably already reported:
-I heard on 3.4 merc cant build units for lvl 31 (havent tried it but a mate did when I was playing in his team)
-When I tried merc on ap, I switched race at lvl 17, built a few towers, then switched back to merc. The second time I was merc, no way to switch race anymore which pretty much messed up my game lol.

I found out what happen now :
- old heal have 1 second cooldown
- new heal have 0 second cooldown

I made this changed because someone piss me off with complaint about my hidden cooldown, so I remove cooldown on most of spell.

and now those spell become bug with 0 second cooldown.

I reported this to HuanAK few days ago. and i got some negative message from others. I tried to do it safest, without any leak as i said. If not, i can reach 7/15 sooner. I often save lumber after lv 20 for lv 22 or 24, and then save again for lv 28.

Personnaly I've never seen heal not costing any mana. Indeed there is no more cooldown on heal, but this is only making healer good on boss. Because on easy lvl, priest waste all their mana on unit even if they lose 1 hp (2-3 sec and no more mana). Then they heal at the rate of mana reg. So I think the main problem would be mana reg on those units. So maybe put the 1 sec cooldown to they dont waste all their mana when a lvl start, this will also make them less op at boss. But make mana reg on both priest 1.5 or 2 times slower (would need some testing on that)

Edit: Oh and on 3.3, the reason why I was never building any priest was also because the 1 sec cooldown, was somehow preventing priest from attacking often enough which made them not worth the cost in my opinion. Now they attack more often only problem is that they heal too often :p.

Hello. Well i have played legion 3.4 a lot these days and i saw a lot of nasty bugs and imbalanced units.

1. Wolverine didn't have any critical in v3.4. In 3.3 version , the critical was way to high. It's not normal to beat the boss levels that easly. So i recommand a low dmg critical in v3.4 .

2. In 3.4 version, the priest from paladin its way to unbalanced. All the bots now make 2 lines of priest and make easly defend all the game. 100 hp, and 200 hp its much , very much. It was very good like 3.3 version.

3. The votekick didnt work anymore.

Because of the unbalanced units v3.4 lots of my friends play 3.3 version. I apriciate all your work but besides of the new race, this version sucks.

just played a game of v3.4. Blue and teal left in early rounds, game ended with 2v4. Complete game was like absolutely normal, but after last round.. after round 30, the complete East team (each of them) got another like ~15.000 gold, which made them totally overpowered, values of 26.000..

bug or maphack? cant tell, as each of the 4 eastside players had the extra ~15k of gold. we - the 2 west side players - didnt get any extra cash!

I just found a bug, gold from king is wrong after level 30.

It jump to wrong trigger with wrong -HG gold formula.

affirmitive. tried it in 2 games... at some point at the middle of the game (dont know which round exactly), but neither -vk nor -votekick would work. no popup, nothing. the commands are just completely ignored. no hcl mode used. i set the mode manually to -hpglcb in both games.

I think I know which part of code should I check now. possible reason is :

- someone type -vk, game will set "voting in process" to stop other people start vote at same time.
- for some reason, this "voting in process" didn't reset. so nobody can start vote.

"voting in process" should reset for normal vote process. but may not reset if :
- player hit "cancel"
- or player do something else.
 
Review:

Gameplay:

There are a lot of builder units, each of them really unique with their own special roles in the map. There are also quite a few game modes.
I've never seen a td before where the towers become moving units when a wave starts.
It's really unique and kinda fun, the towers start attacking the incoming wave really quickly and then when they're done, they teleport to the King, to defend him I guess, although I don't understand why they go to the king afterwards.
You can also upgrade and improve the target you're defending, which is unusual for a TD map, but new.
The feature that lets the players themselves send specific waves to the enemy lanes isn't anything new, but it fits everything else and makes it even more fun and challenging at the same time.

Terrain:

The map is large enough, it looks completely polished and symmetric and the tile variations make it look kinda cool.

Other:

A really neat loading screen image with the loading bars included.
Also I suggest you increase the mode selection time, 15 seconds aren't a lot.

Overall:

A well executed TD with a lot of features from other TDs put into one, making it really fun, but still kinda unoriginal and it doesn't really bring anything fresh to the table.

GG Rules:
- leaked bounty is adjusted by -1% per number of leaked
- player cannot feed their team forever (will become 0% if leak more than 100)

Creep:
- lvl3 is harder (can't kill with 300 value)
- lvl7 is harder (same as version 3.3)
- lvl 17-27 adjusted, recommended value is more accuracy, can't kill with 1k less value
- possible new hard level: 17, 23, 26

Beta 2 changes log:
- votekick should be 100% fixed.
- only 1 player can open -vk menu at same time (It will expired after 10 seconds)
- King's stat change back to normal
- Score is visible during arena
- Score is correct for end game stat
- W3MMD is off on default
- Hostbot can turn W3MMD on special hcl command

how to turn on W3MMD:
- Set HCL to "0" or "-0" only ( eg, "HCL 0" or "HCL -0" )
- It won't turn on with normal HCL mode (eg "HCL -ap" won't turn it on)

for desync.. I think it can't save or desync if one of player running warcraft in difference language ( need more information to confirm)

(mana regen will lower from 60 to 40 second)

Introduce score system, It calculate from on :
- Value ( 100*Value/Recommend value)
- Income ( 100*Income/(bonus gold*2))
- Number of leaked ( -1 score per leaked)
- Change builder/re-roll used (50% bonus if never use change builder)

here is detail formula :
level score = value score * change builder modifier + income score
Total score = sum of level score
Score = ( Total Score / Level ) - # of leaked

Note:
Bonus gold for lvl21-30 is 800 less than older version, mean:
- Bonus gold for lvl21-30 worth 1500 (was 2300)
- Richer get RICHER ( because income cap is remove, they will get full bonus gold)
- Game is harder for noob

Beta 1:
- W3MMD is turn on on default
- level & time is incorrect after game end (player who left shouldn't update their level & time)

Beta 2:
- W3MMD is turn off, you can turn it on by: "hcl 0" from hostbot (either config setting or type them in lobby)
- level & time is more accuracy

Known bug for Beta 1:
- King have insane stat, so game should will reach lvl30 easily(and you can see how Score work for difference level) :)
- Score is "?" during arena (should visible
- Score on end game stat is incorrect

There are some bugs:
The right King have 5k hp, and the left one have >28k (4vs4). Still disconnect.

played a 3on3 on 3.41 b1 and we all got a fatal error when a guy left.
it was lvl 2, as soon as he left we were all disconnected.

Same problem here - disconect!

Hy all, I maybe new, but I recently discovered that I very much love playing Legion TD.
So, skiping all the B.S. ( swear! ), and me being serious now, first thing I like to thank the creator of this map, it's awesome.
And now back to disconecting problems.
I started to hate joining other host's because of leavers, noobs, laggers and other shitty players.
And that forced me only to host the map myself, and that I did just that for quite a time now.
The V3.4 ( beta 1 ) map, its ok, from the bugfix problems, but not the disconecting one.
At lvl 7 ( I guess, don't remember exactly - I was pissed off), one player disconected ( the countdown of 45 expired ), then imediately another player followed him, after that, the remaining 3 players disconected ( at the same time ).
Hope you release a new version soon, much stable.
Until then, I'll play the V3.4 one ( the bug's this one has are very much tolerable ).
PS: My english maybe be a bit bad, it's because it's not my mother language, nonetheless I love it ( too ).

v3.41 B1 bug: both kings started with insane amount of stats, still upgradeable (like 18K of HP more or less instead of 5.8K, takes one hit to kill Demons etc..)

btw is lvl28 supposed to be THAT strong??

lvl 28 still way to strong, its impossible if you play prophet and dont roll tanks, even with very high value
I myself like this. Even pure Doomday tanks which reach recommend value cant pass that round. Have to mix some auras and spell. Thats the way legion TD more interesting.

Not much time, just had time for 2 games. One of beta1 yesterday and now a beta2 game. both hosted with bot.

beta1 game: 2 leaver on westside, one on east side. but no desync/disconnects upon that. all those leavers left on their free will ;) w3mmd data seems to be ok.

beta2 game: enabled w3mmd via hcl 0. collected w3mmd data seems to look complete as well, although not 100% correct. also a leaver on westside, but no desync/discon problems.

conclusion: leaver have an empty "flag" value, anyone else who stays ingame gets the flag field filled with "loser", no matter if on winning or losing team.

wolverine crit seems to be ok now. cant tell if votekick works, used hcl 0 due to enable w3mmd and therefore vk gets deactivated.
didnt notice anything else for now, but a question on my own behalf ;)
why did you change the way the units spawn? the "one by one" spawn and not the all at once spawn like in 3.3?
as the units are bigger/need more space, some effects kinda fade out, like e.g. splash dmg of spawn of dragon (a lot less units are effected by the splash at once and needs way longer to kill round 1, and i assume it has the same effect on later rounds, but its harder to watch as they have way more hp). and also due to the bigger space needed they come more separated/blocking each other and making some rounds like easier (in my opinion), as lets say the first 10 units of a round can be killed easily one by one, especially if you build a little bit further in the back and having units to run for a while to reach your units! is that also coz of lost 3.3 code base? or did you have any intentions on changing the whole unit approach process?

I myself like this. Even pure Doomday tanks which reach recommend value cant pass that round. Have to mix some auras and spell. Thats the way legion TD more interesting.

nope, mass doomsday do it easy, and you can be pro, have good rolls, good auras and everything, geting gold from leaks and having 7/12 at lvl 20 and if you dont roll siege unit its impossible with prophet

vk still doenst work

1, "loser" is bug because I update W3MMD as soon as King is die (before game decide who is winner or losert). will fix this in final release

For Flag, there are only one variable on W3MMD, but your database use 3 columns

for enable W3MMD :
- I have two variable : W3MMD_enable, and HCL_Enable.
- HCL_Enable become enable when : "hcl 0" , "hcl -0" or "hcl (any character)"
- W3MMD_enable only enable by "hcl 0" or "hcl -0"

I am not sure if W3MMD should enable with any hcl characters.

I did lots changed in 3.4 for spawn/pathing.
- in 3.3, lots of events happen after spawn, during fight and teleport.
- in 3.4, nothing happen after creep spawn (except spell).. untill all creep or all fighters is death on specific lane (that is why you see fighter walk back for 1 second before walk to teleport)

So this changed will minimum event during fight and hopeful reduce the game lag.

but the creep spawn ok in single player. if game become lag or 4v4, they may stack up in spawn point and block each other :( hence game become easier

- do it give any message after type -vk ?
- do vote menu ever popup ?


Game is either too easy or too hard after remove income cap.

Before I removed, player with high income will received 0 bonus gold. now they can can have those bonus gold that worth 2k. (and this is what Pro ask for)
