I fail to see the terraining in this terrain.
There is hardly more than one model, the glow is pink even though it shouldn't be, if it is meant to be lava.
Over 75% of that I believe is modified with a program, in this case, GIMP.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I got that feeling of it.

I've had this happen to me many times on other sites people say this. sorry if didn't really take me a "long" time to do it i just thought it looked pretty cool and wanted edit it gimp. to me this is my form of terraining, taking my terrains and editing them in photo manipulation programs to spiff em up or look cool. this may not seem valid to some people but i like to go free with my mind when editing a game engine in an editor.

If you want people's comments in the "terraining board," please pay us the respect of showing the real thing, instead of a p(g)imped up photoshopped version of it. How can you expect us to review this work when we don't even know what is done in regards of terraining and what is not done in regards of terraining? >.>

- If you were intending this a mere art, you should've posted it in some other forum, concept art maybe? <.<

Looks okay, though I think you might have failed miserably if those chunks in second plane were supposed to be large epidotes or other similar minerals =P
Oh, and in WarCraft III, in-between tilesets the models had some differences, the same does not occur for StarCraft II. So, yeah, you'll see mono-modeled stuff a lot. Tilesets such as Shakuras for example offer nothing else for you to terrain than rocks.

I remember when new basic terrain pictures of WC3 we out, and people probably liked the regular trees doodads and stuff. But after getting used the same ole doodads so much people got bored of the basic look. SC2 looks nice and all at first, even basic terrain, but we will eventually get used to it just like how everyone here thinks basic trees on WC3 are boring to look at.

this is definetly cool, and would make a great wallpaper. in fact i just might do that.

however, i agree with...the people here because It really isnt a terrain, and is more or less a concept art. Although i dont personally mind you showing us, but for future reference, there you go.
