The fire texture is a bit meh, but I think there is no other ingame texture,
which looks like the wow version, so it was a good choice.

the fire should seriously be an animated texture. Oh and you should also improve the unwrap a bit

For the red and orange part just have either little flames coming from them towards the handle of the sword, or make steam coming off it going towards the handle. These would make it look nice.

i think the sword would look more closely to the original thing if you use the arachnid texture

i like it, i dont see why everyone is complaining about the texture, makes it look like a weapon from PSO (Phantasy Star Online) and yes.. im fully aware its from WOW.

Smoopa, i think your refering to the dark flow from PSO not FF.

It's just a shame that the background color of the screenshot invisibilifies the fiery blades around the sword's core.
