Just a fast question about VX mode

Is it possible to get epic items after killing a boss on normal difficulty and VX mode?

When you select difficulty ingame on normal mode its written "Bosses drop no epics", but i read on tkok.freeforums that:

"After vx mode, epics drop. There are 3 epic helms and 3 necks possible. You'll get .5/1/2 drops based on game mode."

Let it be a VX Sand Golem on normal difficulty for example.
Hope someone can answer me soon.

VX Normal - 50% for 1 epic.
VX Legendery - 100% for 1 epic.
VX Hardcore - 100% for 2 epics.

epic item only drop in single player, can not drop in multiplayer.
is this bug ?
