JNGP Need Help

I copy paste the warcraft iii files to my new computer including the JNGP.


The Warcraft is working.. worldeditor is working... but JNGP don't


I click the JNGP application then nothing happens.. not even a warning.. i keep clicking but theres nothing happen..

What will i do?

Make sure it is up-to-date, try to right click and run it as administrator, try using compatibility mode of XP, open Task Manager to see if there are any processes that would potentially cause it not to run.

even if there isn't an official warning it can still be blocking. Also, there is another issue that I had to fix before, when I download the JNGP it removes a certain file directly. I had to disable my entire anti virus program in order to make it work. Also don't allow the program, allow the folder the program is in.

ok i uninstall the norton... stil not working..

WTF still not working!.. what should i do?.. i uninstall the norton... i downloaded the latest version..

Nothing happens when i click..

ahhhh.. i want to continue my map!.. wtf what is happening to JNGP.. i already uninstall.. what did i do wrong.. not even a warning is popping out!

i may look like an idiot and stupid guy but i really facing an annoying problem here..

My Norton blocks JNGP... so i uninstall it.. UNINSTALL EVERYTHING ON NORTON..

I restart the computer

Delete all JNGP Files... cleared the Recycle Bin..

Downloaded the JNGP from hive

Extract to Warcraft III folder

Click the application

BAM NOT WORKING.. I HATE THIS CAUSE NO EVEN A WARNING! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

GUYS PLEASE HELP ME I AM DESPERATE!

Have your ever tried to run first the WE.bat file in the JNGP folder??

Make sure the appropriate registry keys exist for WC3 (the game is recognized as installed). Without them JNGP may not know where to find WC3.

If that's your situation (that I hardly believe), then your PC is fucked up

you need administor rights to use cmd (command prompt) that's why maybe?

A good way is to start things properly.

I would go :
1. Install Norton
2. Add the Path which JNGP will be placed to the Norton Exc. List
3. Turn Off Norton [Optional - Not Recommended]
4. Download JNGP 2.0.7 [Recommended] or 1.5 + Jass Helper
5. Install JNGP
6. Run we.bat in JNGP, this will allow JNGP to initialize
7. If JNGP can't read Registry, Register them manually [Only 2.0.5(?) or Above]
8. Enjoy working with JNGP again
9. If step 3 is executed, turn on Norton again

Notes :
1. Turn off VJass Syntax when the map doesn't use VJass, it adds additional operation
2. Turn off SharpCraft if not used, it adds additional operation
3. Don't use UMSWE unless necessary, mostly you'll need the terrain pathing editing anyway

Make sure that your computer is clean of virus.
There's a reversed approach if that approach doesn't work and your laptop is clean of virus.
