And the consumables will be added, consumables will contain scrolls/potions/and everything else we can think of : )

how about this
45 - Trash - 1
50 - Common - 2
75 - Uncommon - 3
70 - Advanced - 4
65 - Enchanted - 5
60 - Rare - 6
45 - Epic - 7
30 - Legendary (highest rarity normaly has like 10% if not less of the total amount of items n should never be made but they should be found)
With Common and trash being basicly your building blocks for recipes for the other gear
Number behide the rarity was put that as a rough number for this.
Trash (1) + Rare (6) = Epic (7)
(Put trash as a -# if u want)

Your ammounts seem pretty good : ) altho throught updates we might add more items over time, but for now that looks perfect. Legendary cannot be crafted, thats a great idea! But about the trash + rare is epic, that doesnt sound very good for me. The recipes will jsut be random.

the number thing was just a random idea i had while typing out the amounts for you.
But yeah legendary items that can be crafted aren't ever legendary due to most people just craft up like 2 or more of them and walk through the game like its a cake walk.
I can't do much for my map other than come up with ideas right now till I can get a answer about what I'm looking to do with it. So help you I shall when it comes to items.
BTW normaly the true rates would be
Trash - highest amount of items
Legendary - lowest amount of items

And as for the recipes its easier once you have most of the items cause you can look at the bonus' of the items
like this:
Example 1
Sharp Dagger
+1 Damage
+7% Attack Speed

Seashell Necklace
+3 Intelligence
Blocks a negative spell every 60 seconds.

=
Shell Blade (just a random name i got)
+4/5 Intelligence/Damage (depends on what you want)
Blocks a negative spell every 56 seconds (the attack speed speeding up the extra bonus)
or you can give both extra effects

Example 2
Simple Ring
+2 Magic Damage
+4% Magic Damage Reduction

Deathly Chimes
+5 Magic Damage
Increases magic damage by 1 per enemy
unit within 500 yards range.

=
Deathly Necklace
+7-9 Magic Damage
+4% Magic Damage Reduction or Increases Magic damage by 1 per enemy unit within 500 years range
or
+5 Magic Damage
+6% Magic Damage Reduction or Increases Magic damage by 3 per enemy unit within 500 years range (Get +2 from the Magic damage from the simple ring)

When it comes to the end of my game, you reach the max level. What do you do? You try to find the rarest and most hidden items, thats why there will be much high level rated itemd in the game. Also i was thinking of adding levels to items so people could see how lucky they are when receiving some legendary loot : )

Also a another idea is a recipe that makes a level +1-9 version of the item which gives +1/2 to the item bonus.
Its not a bad idea but makeing all the items at different levels can take a while depending on the amount of items you have.
I GTG though aunt wants her computer.

The item's name is/are Sange and Yasha. Seen in DotA (and other games).

I suggest you guys think of innovative effects (eg on hit effects or such) before thinking of an actual item. I did this with Deathly Chimes and it's the item I am most proud of.

easiest way to get item names is do what I did look up a game and take 2-4 items and combine they name parts together to make a whole new item.

Stats:

Abilities: Grants vision of invisible/burrowed units and the ability to wind-walk (without bonus damage and +75% speed) for 60 seconds [60 sec cooldown]
Requirements: Deathly Chimes + Chizume's Veil + <something moderately difficult to find/make>

Maybe a Souleater could store killing blows as a buff. Whenever a unit is killed this unit's soul is stored. The player can then use the item to unleash the souls (maybe max 5 stacks) to deal damage to nearby units depending on how many souls.

Could you please pick a different picture for archers tabard and basic power gem, as those icons are allready in use by my items. (next time please check if the icons are in use)

I will add your items to by thread soon. Also i am not sure i will use item classes in my map, because they all can be used in crafting more powerfull items :)
