i'm even willing to use jass(never used it before, just some minor custom scripts to eliminate leaks), i've tought of a way, replacing the teamcollor texture, but that doesn't give-me enough manouverability, cuz i want to have 3 or more changeable textures per model

if that's not possible, tell-me how to change a unit's model during the game
(i will not reply to your answers soon, i'll be camping for the next week and a half.)

yes it can be done. u must extract the model and convert to mdl, then change the path to sumthing else and save the mdl, then convert back to mdx. do this as much as u want. (remember the paths u changed to) now the skins should apply to one of those models each. in the game u must have 3 copies of the same unit but with another model (the one with another path) now u can replace units and it will have the different skin. (i use this thing for units with an avatar like spell to make it armored like MK)
