Is It Possible To Model Without Warcraft III?

Erm... I have a question, but I hope you won't mind.
Is it possible to make Warcraft III Models without actually having Warcraft III installed?
Because I'm using my brother's computer right now because mine's under repair and I thought I'd want to do something useful

Of course. Warcraft III itself has little to do with the models. All you need is a program like 3D's Max or Maya.

Yeah. And if you want to edit models and/or use ingame textures, download the MPQ-s from somewhere and use Magos to extract what you need. This is what I've been doing for quite some time because I'm having problems installing WC3.

go to blizzard.com log in see your games you have registered you see a download link there press that you wil receive the installer from blizzard.com type in the key and done
