They have froogle, gmail, and they sometimes need payment to ensure search quality (advanced search, i dont remember the option)

Well I definetly think they are taking over the software/ net industry. Google completely controls every lucrative market on the net. If google decides to expand in to operating systems (the one remaining thing that microsoft has that google doesn't, aside from the console industry and the zune..) then Google will have won and will dominate the PC forever and ever....

I don't think that will be happening any time soon, but you never know. And that could stop Google. You combine the familiarity and compatibility of windows with the looks and ease of use/ bug free-ness of Macs and you get.
