Is it possible to make an illusion invulnerable?

Maybe unit group check for units matching is an illusion of your unit type, if have invul is false add it?

Somehow related on your question. Instead of making illusions through the typical spell, make a dummy that casts Wand of Illusion at you and make Last Summoned unit which is the illusion invulnerable.

there is no last summoned unit action, only summoned unit
is summoned unit counted as an illusion?

I think it is counted as an illusion.
