You see how in maps like Azeroth Wars there are almost all the tilesets ? How do you use more than 8 or 7 9 (Idk the limit) tilesets in the same map ?

Senior mod makers will be using the Jass NewGen Pack (http://www.wc3c.net/showthread.php?t=90999) which allows for the modder to do a lot more editing, but the World Editor has a built in way of changing around tilesets, though it is very limited.

In your toolbar, go to "Advanced -> Modify Tileset."

You are allowed 12 maximum texture space, with each tile occupying either one or two texture space(s). Check the "Use custom tileset" box and you can begin adding tiles from other sets, assuming you have the space. If you don't have the space, you must remove one of the tiles you already have. Cliff tiles (with the red squares in the corner) cannot be added or removed.

Thanks ! I knew already about the custom tileset but the problem was that it was only 12 tiles that were not enough .

You are allowed a maximum of 16 textures, of which 1-2 might be reserved by cliff types. This limit is hard-coded due to the member used to store texture type is a bitfield of length 4 (16 possible values).

You always need at least 1 cliff type or the game will probably crash. The second cliff type is optional however. More than 2 cliff types are supported by the map data (up to 16 can be used) however the game has a logical limit of 2 applied (rest are ignored). Each cliff type will force an accompanying terrain texture defined by the cliff declaration file.

In theory the terrain file allows you to declare up to 2^32-1 cliff types and texture types to use. However the terrain node objects limit how many you can use to 16 by bitfield.

^ To access 16 tilesets in JNGP, go to Extensions -> Edit Tileset. Choose your tiles. Press OK, and don't save your map (it'll save for you), just go to File -> Close Map and then reopen it. The tiles should be loaded if you did it correctly.

You can "fake" additional tilesets beyond that by having a small plane model with the tile texture mapped onto it. But that can only be used on flat ground (actual tiles will wrap onto the terrain). Still, it can be useful for places such as cities where you'll generally use flat ground anyway.
