This is a map Idea that I may go on to implement if there are some suggestions on the bits im stuck on how to implement and interest in developing. If there is an interest, I'll reinstall wc3 just to make this map, lol.

So. Basic idea.

No building or upgrading takes place.

5 'heroes' (theyre really just units with lots of abilities) against one other 'hero'.
The guy by himself owns a military base, swarming with AI powered troops who follow set routes and behaviors. The heroes will have objectives to fulfill. Possibly some thing like, destroy the Undead Plague Granary, their graveyard, and their bridge, then escape. The guy by himself has to kill the other 5 players. The heroes can't directly attack buildings/ objectives. They have to find roundabout ways to destroy them. (like move the barrels of ale or gunpowder next to the granary) and then blow it up.

The guy by himself, and his AI Powered troops have limited vision. (They can only see what's in front of them, with a semi-limited range. (this is where im looking for suggestions though I do have some ideas on how to do this)). The only thing im really stuck on, is how to make their vision get cut off by barriers (can't see through walls.) The infiltrators have access to all of the enemy's vision, but the enemies don't have access to that of the infiltrators.
The only way I can think of to do this is to include invisible units who float around in front of a unit providing them with their vision, and when they get too close to a wall they are destroyed, then reappear once further away from the wall.

The goal is to accomplish the goal without getting caught. you can kill the enemy, but you dont want them to raise the alarm, or they will call all sorts of allies out to hunt for you (and if they don't find you then the extra men go on patrol as well, effectively doubling the difficulty.) They would also raise the alarm if they see someone dead (whose corpse will not go away preferrably, so the heroes need to be stealthy about kill locations or hide the bodies). Everything will be low health. grunt troops should die in one or two attacks, the heroes should die in somewhere around 5. Damage dealt from primary weapon should be comparable between heroes and regular troops.

Everyone will have a ranged attack and a melee attack preferably, though one would be much better than the other. So the archer might have a knife. Ranged weapons have limited ammo, which can be found or taken from enemy troops.

Each hero will have a number of things that they can do, though they'll all be specialized. So one will be an archer, another a fast hero, a tough hero, a stealthy hero, and a mage. (not final just an example of how they would all be different)

The enemy will of course have some sort of teleport which they can use anywhere within their large facility, but will have a heavy cooldown. Heroes have no teleport.

Heroes don't respawn, but the lone villain does automatically after a cooldown.

Once the first map was done, the AI could be reused again for different scenarios with different objectives. Maybe an assassination. Or one from the other side's perspective.

You can't muscle your way through it though, you need to be stealthy.

What do you guys think?
