Hello!
This is my first serious attempt to make a map.

It's still very under construction.

GAMEPLAY -

At the start, every player (12?10?) will have a Race Chooser unit that is able to build a Keep. The Keep is vital, if a player loses their keep they lose.
There are various kinds of Keeps, but for the first release I plan on making Human, Ork and Undeads.
All races need two resources, gold and Materials.
Each race will handle resource collection a bit differently though.
The game is centered on turtling, not rushing.
The armies will be massive, and they will be using a Squad system.
I'm trying to make the game as less micro intensive as possible, and make the battles look epic.

HUMANS -
Humans spawn Builders at their keep. Their builders can build together to make walls and other buildings.
The humans are the ones with less constraints in buildings. They can build everything they want everywhere.
Their heroes are extremely powerfoul, but lack any real magical power.
Their troops are either powerfoul knights or weak cannon fodder, there is no middle.
Gold can be collected in mines (undead style, the workers stay there), and Materials can be collected from rocks,trees or destroyed buildings.
Gold is used to gain troops, Materials for buildings.
The Humans have access to mechanical units and buildings, like the Gigacannon, which has the range of half map.

ORKZ -
The Orkz gain gold by having troops. They periodically receive a sum of money based on their ork amount. They gain Materials by destroying stuff and pillaging the remains.
All Ork troops take a long time to train and are heroes. Some of their troops may get enought powerfoul to advance to a higher status.
The Orkz spawn with a Warboss, their only true hero. The Warboss gains size and strenght much faster than the other orks.
The Orkz are known as hard to control, and often will attack each other and disobey orders.
The Ork buildings are often small and weak compared to the other races. They have to build structures near to each other.

UNDEAD -
The Undeads gain gold in the same way as Humans, but they gain Materials by scavenging corpses with some buildings.
The Undead troops are slow, but have medium strenght. They are also costy too, but make up by being fast to spawn.
The Undead heroes possess incredible magical powers. They can summon and resurrect entire armies.
The Undead buildings have to be built near each other.
The Undead have access to Giant units called Abominations. The Abominations are often really big and hard to kill, but hard and lenghty to build.

theres a unit like that in ladder, i think its called abomination, it's hard to kill and strong but takes awhile to build.

anyway my main complaint is this is to much like regular wc3 ladder, only difference is in unit stats and how you get the second resource. make original races that dont exist in wc3 already. Second can you see the issue with a unit that shoots halfway across the map? you could kill an entire base without them knowing whats kill them.

yeah, races are too much like what we have alrdy. but maybe he will make moar races. then classical ones wouldnt hurt =)

that cannon won't be much of a problem, if it is desiged as Ion Cannon or rocket launchers in C&C - veeery long CD, must be targeted manually.
