Here's a map idea i've been thinking over for a very long time. I've now finally decided to work on it.
-This game will kinda be like a mix of a Survival-Horror and a classical RPG. It will be like a Survival Horror game where there’s one player randomly chosen to be the “infected one” , which will have to either infect or kill other players. Not sure what special powers the infected will have, but it will probably have something to do with transforming.. It will be like a classical rpg where there’s quests that you’ll receive from other units, and some will have level requirements. .There will also be extensive hero customization that I’ll explain more about soon. The world is going to be pretty big, around the size of 224x256 and be very detailed.
-Players will at the start of the game have to choose their primary class, which determines the “elite skills’ they can get. Then they need to choose their secondary class which will allow the player to get the basic abilities of the chosen class.
-Each class has 11 abilities total (a lot to choose from) and the heros can have 5-6 abilities total.
Initially there will be 3 classes to choose from, Druid of the Claw, Assassin, and Beastmaster, so 33 abilities total.
-You’ll get abilities by purchasing them at training centers that will be called something suitable for the heros they have abilities for, like “Druid Hideout”, or “Assassin’s Layer”.
- I want the world to feel dark, cold, scary, and mysterious. I also want it to have a very natural beauty to it, or close to it. Im someone really obsessed with creating the right atmosphere for my games.
-There will be ambient noises played throughout the entire game, like the downpour of rain, the crackling of thunder, the whispering of the forest, and other such things.
- A huge Night Elf city stands in the middle of the forest, as already said. It will have unique looking houses found everywhere, and decorative objects like statues and stone benches. Guards will be patrolling everywhere, and there will be Ancient Protectors guarding every entrance to the town. The buildings will look naturally big and I’m thinking of making it so you can enter some.
-There’s 3-4 cave entrances in the city which lead to an underground network of tunnels which serve as pathways to deep into the ashenvale forest. The underground caves will have various shops/people in it, and high level guards to defend off high level creep spawns. It will be a place for the player to explore once he’s a highlevel, and quests will require a high level.
-The Night Elf city will be attacked by the denizens of the forest every 2-3 minutes. There will also be an attack launched from within the caves that would eventually lead to the inside of the city.
- There will be creeps located out in the Forest and Inside the caves, they wont attack the city, and will re-spawn eventually after dying.
-The caves will have some areas flooded with green toxic water which “infected cave mongers” live in. Cave Mongers have the murloc models.
-At some areas of the map the player’s camera will automatically be adjusted so they can have a better view of their surroundings, like when an objecct is too big to be fully seen from the normal camera view, or when objects are blocking your view, or when you can only see the back of something important, etc.
Overall I want the map to be visually impressive, unique and have a lot of depth to the gameplay.

Story
A Night Elf city stands in the midst of a ruined forest that was once a beautiful sanctuary for the nightelf but that has lost its former beauty with the advent of a strange and powerful infection that contaminates everything. The plants of the forest were the first to show noticeable signs of the infection, withering and becoming very poisonous, then the animals shortly followed, becoming even more savage than they naturally are and attacking everything on sight. Eventually the Night Elf even succumbed to it, turning on themselves and causing huge destruction. Now only the Night Elf capital remains intact and has to defend against the assault of the entire forest!
