When I need music for my projects then I'll try to make it myself. Currently my interest is in industrial music. Being precise is music inspired by X-RX.

In my current state I have Garage Band so I'll look for tutorial related to it. Any help and advice is welcome to me.

Oh.

But people can still recognize the instruments used on these songs right?

Most DAW's come with some sort of Effect Vst aimed at guitars, dont know if GarageBand has one,but if it has,use it on your synths, fastest way to get that heavy and distorted sound going, look around your DAW to find drums aimed for Electronic/Dubstep/etc,those work well for industrial most of the time.If it doesnt have them...well,go on a freebie hunt and you'll surely find something.
