Music Editing

Recently I've come acros the need to start editing music for variose projects, but I seem to have hit a large brick wall.

I have no clue how to use Audacity.

I can use other programs, but I'm used to using apple's Garage Band for music editing, and since this is a PC, that probably wont happen soon.

So my question is, anyone know a good tutorial?

hmmmm well how exactly do you plan on editing it?

Are you going to try and take a part of it for a loop?
Are you trying to decrease the filesize?
Are you trying to change the file type?
