I'm getting "Temple of the Old Gods" today. Simply marvalous! Have you ever heard of a certain writer named HP Lovecraft? (The Call of Cthulhu)

Yes, how did you guess? :lol: I've read most of his short stories and novels, and I've been Keeper (game master) for Call of Cthulhu the roleplaying game for more than 10 years. 8) The rest of the GG&K team are his fans, too, and players of Call of Cthulhu.

Cool! I have the 4th edition sourcebook for Call of Ctulhu, I love the monsters in it. I wonder if someone's working on Lovecraftian modifications for Warcraft?

Have a look at Zombie Island - The Curse of the Lost City by King Klear. I think it is pretty cool.

I've been thinking of making a couple of scenarios based on the Ctulhu mythos, and I actually have some cheap unit ideas for before I figure out how to create or alter unit graphics beyond simple scaling.

Spider Brood Mother-Leng Spider
Sludge Creature-Formless Spawn
Ghouls-Ghouls
White Magnataur-Gnoph-Keh
Gargoyle-Byahkee
Some Naga Unit-Deep One
Snap Dragon-Bokrug
Blue Fell Hound- Hound of Tindalos

Some units would have to be altered in terms of color or small adjustments.

Men of Leng- Greyish Orcs?
Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath- Recolored and altered Treant?
Ghast- Recolored Ghoul?

Then there are lots of units that would have to be made from scratch. (which would be very cool)
(for those of you who do not what the heck I'm talking about, I'll give a short description)

Gug- A giant, four armed monster, with a mouth that opens verticaly, instead of horizontally.
